
Leadership Council
Together, the members of the Continuum of Care (CoC), through the CoC Leadership Council and the Suncoast Partnership, coordinates the community’s policies, strategies, and activities toward ending homelessness. Its work includes gathering and analyzing information in order to determine the local needs of people experiencing homelessness, securing resources to address the needs of people experiencing homelessness, identifying and bridging gaps in housing and services, educating the community on homeless issues, providing advice and input on the operations of homeless services, and measuring CoC performance.
The CoC Leadership Council is composed of civic leaders, community and government partners, homeless and formerly homeless individuals, advocates, and the private sector. The Suncoast CoC Leadership Council meets bi-monthly.

CONTINUUM OF CARE (CoC) ANNOUNCES OPEN LEADERSHIP COUNCIL SEATS
Do you want to be directly involved with the CoC and be part of a community-wide, strategic, and coordinated response to prevent and end homelessness?
The Leadership Council is made up of community influencers and decision makers who are dedicated to understanding homelessness and the powerful role each sector of our community can play in preventing homelessness, and ensuring that, when it does occur, it is rare, brief, and one time. Leadership Council members understand we must all work across systems, in a coordinated way, for a collective, lasting community impact. The Leadership Council is comprised of government officials, CEO's and Executive Directors of local nonprofits, private sector members, homeless advocates, those with lived homeless experience, leaders representing mental health and drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs etc.
