Together, through the CoC Leadership Council and Suncoast Partnership, the members of the CoC set the CoC's policies, strategies, and activities toward ending homelessness.  Its work includes gathering and analyzing information in order to determine the local needs of people experiencing homelessness, securing resources to address the needs of people experiencing homelessness, identifying and bridging gaps in housing and services, educating the community on issues around homelessness and housing, providing advice and input on the operations of homeless services, and measuring CoC performance. Coordination with other community systems, local governments, and community policies and strategies are essential for success.

The CoC Leadership Council is composed of civic leaders, community and government partners, advocates, people with lived expertise, and private sector associates.  Meetings are held every other month and open to the public.  Elections for available seats are held throughout the year for unfilled seats and annually for term changes.  We welcome new members to the table!
