Emergency Shelter

There are five emergency shelters in Sarasota and Manatee counties for those who are homeless and in need of assistance.  These residences are a temporary respite, while a person develops their plan for permanent housing.

These shelters are:  The Salvation Army of Sarasota, The Salvation Army of Manatee, Harvest House Family Haven Shelter, YMCA Youth Shelter in Sarasota and the Family Resources Youth Shelter in Manatee.

Oneby1 Access Points

Are you or someone you know homeless and interested in getting housed? Please view our Access Point Locations & Hours to receive a Oneby1 Coordinated Entry Intake.  By working with our Access Point staff, a person who is homeless is placed on our "by name" list for rapid re-housing, permanent supportive housing and other important services.
